Before Ashley walked down the aisle, she took to the skies—literally! On September 16, 2019, we had the absolute joy of doing her bridal trial for a dreamy engagement shoot in Albany, NY. But this wasn’t your typical photo session. Ashley and her fiancé took off on a hot air balloon ride, capturing breathtaking moments for their save the dates that were nothing short of cinematic.
For the look, Ashley wanted something polished and timeless—something that would hold up during the breezy ride and photograph beautifully from every angle. Tayla, lead artist at The Makeup Studio Saratoga, created a soft-glam look with glowing skin, gentle eye definition, and just the right touch of color. It was the perfect preview of the bridal beauty to come—effortless, radiant, and totally “her.”
Not only was this shoot the perfect opportunity for Ashley to see how her bridal makeup would wear in real-time, but it also gave us a sneak peek into the love and laughter she shares with her now-husband. The energy between them was contagious, and the photos from that day? Pure magic.
This special shoot marked the beginning of a beautiful relationship—Ashley has since become one of our most beloved clients and has brought so many wonderful friends and family into our Studio. We’re endlessly thankful to her for spreading the word and sharing her experience.
